Our transparent rate schedule is:
• Regular Weekly Clean: £19.90 / hour
• Regular Fortnightly Clean: £19.90 / hour
• Deep Clean / Spring Clean: £25.90 / hour
• One-off Clean: £25.90 / hour
• Parties & Events Clean: £30 non-refundable booking fee + £19.90 / hour
• Hiremaid Supplies Kit (all commercial chemicals & vacuums provided): £40.00 / hour (Client supplying materials is our most recommended approach).
Every cleaning appointment requires a minimum duration of 3 hours. This standard ensures our cleaners have adequate time to deliver a comprehensive, unhurried service to your property and makes travel viable for our dedicated cleaning staff.
A non-refundable £50 booking deposit is payable upon booking confirmation to secure your date and assign your cleaner. Once received, your appointment time is permanently reserved. The remaining balance is payable upon successful completion of your clean.
Cleaning Equipment & Supplies Policy3
Client supplying materials is our most recommended, economical choice. You provide a working vacuum cleaner (a Henry-type vacuum cleaner is preferred for superior suction and pet hair extraction), a long-handled mop and bucket, fresh microfiber cloths, and soft sponges for mild and high limescale removal (essential for Cambridge hard water).
Henry vacuum cleaners feature high-capacity drum suction and industrial filtration that excels at removing fine grit, allergens, and pet hair from older Cambridge carpets and hardwood floors. If a client provides a standard cordless or non-Henry vacuum, Hiremaid cannot be held responsible if the vacuum fails to extract deep debris effectively.
Yes! If you prefer not to purchase or store equipment, you can choose our full supplies package for £40.00 per hour. Our team will bring commercial-grade Henry vacuums, specialized descalers, sanitized microfiber cloths, soft limescale sponges, and all required solutions.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & Pauses3
Clients must provide at least 3 days' (72 hours') notice before the scheduled appointment date to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice will be charged at the full cost of the booked clean, as that time slot has been exclusively reserved for you and prevents us from rebooking the cleaner.
Yes. Clients on a regular schedule may pause their service for up to 3 weeks without losing their recurring time slot. If the service is paused for more than 3 weeks (including 1 month or longer), the property will require a one-off deep clean before routine maintenance cleaning can resume.
If our cleaner attends your property and the required equipment (working vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket, and products) is unavailable or inadequate, the service may be cancelled at the visit. In accordance with our policy, the appointment was reserved exclusively for you, so the full cleaning fee remains payable.
Home Access, Safety & Insurance3
No. Many of our Cambridge clients work or travel during cleaning hours. You can provide a key or secure lockbox code. Our cleaners are thoroughly vetted, DBS-screened, and trained in secure key-holding procedures.
Yes. All operatives undergo identity checks, right-to-work verification, and enhanced DBS criminal record checks. Our operations carry comprehensive Public Liability Insurance coverage for property damage and operative safety.
Yes! We offer a full suite of specialist add-ons including Oven Cleans (£20), Fridge Wipes (£10) / Deep Cleans (£20), Wardrobe Arrangements (£20), Ironing (£15/hr), and Hot Water Extraction Carpet Cleaning (from £35/room, or Whole House packages from £200).
